Ashraf Alkhairy was an ambitious and innovative student from the start. When he attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he was a research assistant and later formulated a thesis on image coding as a Fourier transform magnitude. This would earn him the Guillemin Award for the best undergraduate thesis.
And this was only the beginning of Alkhairy’s career. When he pursued his Ph.D. in electrical engineering and computer science, Ashraf Alkhairy worked on the topic of manufacturing and product process selection. With this research, he invented a new method for quality checks and is now known as the Alkhairy quality control method.
After Alkhairy received his Ph.D., he worked as a research scientist with directors at MIT and helped associate professors improve the manufacturing process and enhance its efficiency. Alkhairy now works as a professor at a famous university and is an investigator at the Computer Research Institute in Saudi Arabia, where he works on academic research in computer science, electrical engineering, and business administration.
